ACADEMIC PROBLEMS

Whether in college or high school, school can be complicated. It’s often a source of excitement and inspiration but can also be closely connected with mental health symptoms. If your academic life is causing you significant stress, anxiety or other mental health concerns on a regular basis, you may want to seek support from therapy. Studies show that in the United States, academic issues seem to be a common source of stress. Many students of all age groups are experiencing anxiety, depression, conflicts with friends or family, difficulty sleeping, changes in eating habits, identity concerns, and issues with self-esteem and self-worth. If you or someone you know is experiencing concerns with bullying, balancing the work/family schedule, facing academic changes and transitions or testing anxiety, I can offer support in guidance through these academic years.
