ADHD

Treating ADHD often requires a treatment team approach, looking at medical, educational, behavioral and psychological interventions. Working closely with your therapist, treatment should be tailored to the unique needs of each individual and the family to help control the symptoms, cope with the disorder, improve overall psychological well-being and manage social relationships. Your therapist can provide support to both your child and the caregiver to discuss and manage negative feelings, find accommodations within the school system, and replace negative habits and actions with positive ones.
