ANGER MANAGEMENT

Struggling with anger means that you’re probably familiar with the feeling of regret that follows an outburst. High levels of anger often take away our ability to think rationally and we often end up hurting those we love. Working with a therapist is an important place to begin to understand the role of anger, to normalize that anger is something we all experience and that when controlled and understood, can actually help us. Your therapist can help educate you and support you around warning signs of anger. Begin to understand your triggers to anger, and implement helpful management techniques to stay within your window of tolerance, and experience your emotions in an adaptive way.
