These are sidesteps to the original EMDR protocol that are better suited for more recent traumas (less then 3 months ago), and for individuals who need more support staying within their window of tolerance. EMDr and EMD are wonderful accompaniments to EMDR and can feel like a much safer and tolerable way to process and sit with upsetting life experiences.
